They are the Prominent Hamlets (Qurā al-Ẓāhira)
Al-Imāma wa’l-Tabṣira min al-Ḥayra|Volume 1|Book 3|Chapter 15
Saʿd b. ʿAbd Allāh, from Isḥāq b. Yaʿqūb, who narrated: “I heard the scholar al-ʿUmarī رضي الله عنه saying: “I accompanied a man from the rural districts of Iraq who had with him money for the Creditor عليه السلام,[1] so he sent it forth. However, it was returned to him, and he was told: “Take out of it what rightfully belongs to your paternal cousins, which is four hundred dirhams.” The man remained bewildered, dumbfounded and astonished, and then looked at the accounts of the money, in which he found that he had in his possession an estate belonging to his paternal cousins, some of which he had already returned to them and some of which he had withheld from them when, lo and behold, the amount of that money due them was four hundred dirhams, just as he عليه السلام had said. So, the man took it out and sent the remainder, which was accepted.”
