Muhammad ibn al-Hasan said: “The meaning of His عليه السلام saying, peace be upon him, 'if she dies, he may not wash her,' refers to not washing her body while it is uncovered. Rather, he should wash her from behind the garment. This is supported by what has been narrated elsewhere.”
