Chapter on Instructing the Dying (Talqin al-Muhtadarin)

Muhammad ibn al-Hasan said: “All these narrations indicate that it is preferable for a man to wash a woman from above her garments. As for the woman, it is also preferable that she washes the man from above his garments. The evidence supporting this is what has been narrated elsewhere.”
