As you can see in this narration, it mentions that the questioner was someone else and the one being asked was named, this is clearly contradictory. For if the questioner were the narrator himself, then the later narration must be false; and if the questioner were someone else, then the first narration must be false. When two narrations are in contradiction and there is nothing to support either of them, both must be discarded. Moreover, even if this hadith were authentic, it would not contradict what we have already mentioned from the other narrations. And it is possible that this narration came in the context of taqiyyah, just as many similar narrations have. The Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, said: "Prayer in black garments is disliked, and wearing a turban from such garments is disliked in certain contexts, but there is no problem praying in them even if they are black."
