ثم تصلي ركعتين فإذا فرغت فقل ما رواه ثُمَّ تُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَقُلْ« يَا مَنْ أَظْهَرَ اَلْجَمِيلَ وَ سَتَرَ اَلْقَبِيحَ يَا مَنْ لَمْ يَهْتِكِ اَلسِّتْرَوَ لَمْ يُؤَاخِذْ بِالْجَرِيرَةِ يَا عَظِيمَ اَلْعَفْوِ يَا حَسَنَ اَلتَّجَاوُزِ يَا وَاسِعَ اَلْمَغْفِرَةِ يَا بَاسِطَ اَلْيَدَيْنِ بِالرَّحْمَةِ يَا صَاحِبَ كُلِّ نَجْوَى وَ مُنْتَهَى كُلِّ شَكْوَى يَا مُقِيلَ اَلْعَثَرَاتِ يَا كَرِيمَ اَلصَّفْحِ يَا عَظِيمَ اَلْمَنِّ يَا مُبْتَدِئاً بِالنِّعَمِ قَبْلَ اِسْتِحْقَاقِهَا يَا رَبَّاهْ يَا سَيِّدَاهْ يَا أَمَلاَهْ يَا غَايَةَ رَغْبَتِي أَسْأَلُكَ بِكَ يَا اَللَّهُ أَلاَّ تُشَوِّهَ خَلْقِي بِالنَّارِ وَ أَنْ تَقْضِيَ لِي حَوَائِجَ آخِرَتِي وَ دُنْيَايَ وَ تَفْعَلَ بِي كَذَا وَ كَذَا وَ تُصَلِّي عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ» وَ تَدْعُو بِمَا بَدَا لَكَ. ثُمَّ تُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَقُلِ« اَللَّهُمَّ خَلَقْتَنِي فَأَمَرْتَنِي وَ نَهَيْتَنِي وَ رَغَّبْتَنِي فِي ثَوَابِ مَا بِهِ أَمَرْتَنِي وَ رَهَّبْتَنِي عِقَابَ مَا عَنْهُ نَهَيْتَنِي وَ جَعَلْتَ لِي عَدُوّاً يَكِيدُنِي وَ سَلَّطْتَهُ مِنِّي عَلَى مَا لَمْ تُسَلِّطْنِي عَلَيْهِ مِنْهُ فَأَسْكَنْتَهُ فِي صَدْرِي وَ أَجْرَيْتَهُ مَجْرَى اَلدَّمِ مِنِّي لاَ يَغْفُلُ إِنْ غَفَلْتُ وَ لاَ يَنْسَى إِنْ نَسِيتُ يُؤْمِنُنِي عَذَابَكَ وَ يُخَوِّفُنِي بِغَيْرِكَ إِنْ هَمَمْتُ بِفَاحِشَةٍ شَجَّعَنِي وَ إِنْ هَمَمْتُ بِصَالِحٍ ثَبَّطَنِي يَنْصِبُ لِي بِالشَّهَوَاتِ وَ يَعْرِضُ لِي بِهَا إِنْ وَعَدَنِي كَذَبَنِي وَ إِنْ مَنَّانِي قَنَّطَنِي وَ إِنِ اِتَّبَعْتُ هَوَاهُ أَضَلَّنِي وَ إِنْ لاَ تَصْرِفْ عَنِّي كَيْدَهُ يَسْتَزِلَّنِي وَ إِنْ لاَ تُفْلِتْنِي مِنْ حَبَائِلِهِ يَصُدَّنِي وَ إِنْ لاَ تَعْصِمْنِي مِنْهُ يَفْتِنِّي اَللَّهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ اِقْهَرْ سُلْطَانَهُ عَلَيَّ بِسُلْطَانِكَ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى تَحْبِسَهُ عَنِّي بِكَثْرَةِ اَلدُّعَاءِ لَكَ مِنِّي فَأَفُوزَ فِي اَلْمَعْصُومِينَ مِنْهُ بِكَ وَ لاَ حَوْلَ وَ لاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِكَ»
Then you perform two units of prayer. When you finish, say what was narrated: Then you should pray two rak‘ahs, and when you have finished, say: “O’ He عز وجل who reveals the beautiful and conceals the ugly, O’ He عز وجل who does not tear away the covering and does not take one to task for the offense, O’ Great in pardon, O’ Excellent in overlooking, O’ Vast in forgiveness, O’ Extender of the two hands with mercy, O’ Companion of every whispered conversation and the end of every complaint, O’ Remover of stumblings, O’ Noble in pardoning, O’ Great in benefaction, O’ Beginner of blessings before their worthiness. O’ my Lord عز وجل, O’ my Master, O’ my Hope, O’ Ultimate of my desire, I ask You عز وجل by You عز وجل, O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, not to disfigure my form with the Fire, And that You عز وجل fulfill for me the needs of my Hereafter and my world, And that You عز وجل do for me (such-and-such) and (such-and-such), And that You عز وجل send blessings upon (Prophet) Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم and the family of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم.” And you may supplicate with whatever occurs to you. Then pray two rak‘ahs, and when you have finished, say: “O Allah سبحانه وتعالى, You عز وجل created me, then You عز وجل commanded me and forbade me, And encouraged me with the reward of what You عز وجل commanded me with, And warned me of the punishment for what You عز وجل forbade me from. And You عز وجل made for me an enemy who plots against me, And You عز وجل gave him authority over me in ways You عز وجل did not give me authority over him. You عز وجل placed him within my chest and made him flow like blood within me. He (this enemy) does not become heedless if I am heedless, and he does not forget if I forget. He makes me feel secure from Your punishment and frightens me with other than You. If I intend an indecency, he encourages me, and if I intend a righteous deed, he discourages me. He sets up for me desires and presents them to me. If he promises me, he lies to me; if he gives me hope, he causes me to despair. If I follow his desire, he leads me astray. And if You عز وجل do not turn away from me his plotting, he will cause me to slip. And if You عز وجل do not rescue me from his snares, he will divert me. And if You عز وجل do not protect me from him, he will tempt me. O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, so send blessings upon (Prophet) Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم and his family, And subdue his (enemy) power over me with Your power over him, until You عز وجل restrain him from me through my abundant supplication to You عز وجل. So I may be victorious among those who are protected from him through You عز وجل. And there is no power and no strength except through You عز وجل.”
