On Various Traditions From Imam Ali Ibn Musa al-Ridha صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم

28-75 (The author of the book narrated) my father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Sa’d ibn Abdullah quoted on the authority of Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Isa, on the authority of Abu Himam Isma’il ibn Himam that Al-Ridha صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم asked someone, “What do you think ‘as-Sakina is?” The people present were unable to answer. They said, “May we be your ransom! What is it?” The Imam صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم said, “It is a breeze that comes from Paradise. It has the looks of a man who accompanies the Prophets صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم. It was descended upon Abraham صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم while he was building the Kaaba. It established the details about the location (of Kaaba) and how to build it, so Abraham صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم built it based on that.”
