Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 25
The Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib عليه السلام said: "From a martyr, the fur, shoes, cap, turban, belt, and trousers should be removed, unless they have been stained with blood ; if they are stained with blood, they are to be left on. No tied item should remain on the body; it must be untied."
