Chapter of Ta'qeeb (Prayer Supplications)
Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 47
وَقَالَ صَفْوَانُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ اَلْجَمَّالُ: رَأَيْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ إِذَا صَلَّى وَ فَرَغَ مِنْ صَلاَتِهِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فَوْقَ رَأْسِهِ.
Safwan bin Mehran Al-Jammal said: "I saw Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام when he finished his prayer, he would raise his hands above his head”.
