The Obligation of the Jumu’ah Prayer, Its Virtue, Who is Exempt from it, and the Prayer and Sermon Therein
Zurarah said: "I asked Imam عليه السلام upon whom is the Jumu’ah prayer obligatory?" Imam عليه السلام said: "It is obligatory upon seven people among the Muslims, and there is no Jumu’ah prayer for fewer than five Muslims, one of whom is the Imam. When seven gather and do not fear (any threat), one of them leads them in prayer and delivers the sermon."
