Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 59
Ismail ibn al-Fadl asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام about a man who travels from one land to another but resides in his own villages and properties. Imam عليه السلام said: "If you stay in your own village or land, then complete the prayer; if you are in land that is not yours, then shorten the prayer."
