Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 3|Book 2|Chapter 35
Al-Hasan ibn Mahbub narrated from Abu Walad, who said: I asked Abu Abdullah عليه السلام about a man who takes a riding animal or a camel as collateral (rahn) for his money, does he have the right to ride them? Imam عليه السلام said: "If he is the one feeding them, then he has the right to ride them. But if the one who pledged them as collateral is the one feeding them, then he does not have the right to ride them."
