Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 3|Book 2|Chapter 38
Muhammad ibn Isma'il narrated from Salam ibn Sahm, the devout elder, that he heard Abu Abdillah عليه السلام say to Sadir: "O Sadir, whoever swears by Allah سبحانه وتعالى falsely has committed disbelief, and whoever swears by Allah سبحانه وتعالى truthfully has sinned. Indeed, Allah سبحانه وتعالى, the Almighty and Glorious, says: 'And do not make Allah سبحانه وتعالى an excuse in your oaths' (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:224)."
