Chapter on the Inheritance of One Who Has No Heir
Al-Hasan ibn Mahbub narrated from Malik ibn Atiyyah from Sulayman ibn Khalid from Abu Abdullah عليه السلام regarding a Muslim man who was killed and had a Christian father. Imam عليه السلام was asked: "To whom does his blood money (diyyah) go?" Imam عليه السلام said: "It is taken and placed in the treasury (Bayt Al-Mal) of the Muslims because his liability falls upon the treasury of the Muslims."
