What is Narrated From Al-Askari عليه السلام Regarding the Designation of Al-qa'im
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِصَامٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْكُلَيْنِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَلَّانٌ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا أَنَّهُ لَمَّا حَمَلَتْ جَارِيَةُ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ ع قَالَ سَتَحْمِلِينَ ذَكَراً وَ اسْمُهُ مُحَمَّدٌ وَ هُوَ الْقَائِمُ مِنْ بَعْدِي.
Narrated to us Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Asim رضي الله عنه: Narrated to us Muhammad bin Yaqoob Kulaini: Narrated to me Allan ar-Raazi: Informed me some of our associates that when his slave maid became pregnant Abu Muhammad عليه السلام said:
“You are pregnant with a male whose name is Muhammad and he is the Qaim after me.”
