Chapter on Purifying Clothes and Other Items From Impurities
Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 12
وَ بِهَذَا اَلْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ اَلْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ بَوْلِ اَلصَّبِيِّ يُصِيبُ اَلثَّوْبَ فَقَالَ «اِغْسِلْهُ» فَقُلْتُ فَإِنْ لَمْ أَجِدْ مَكَانَهُ قَالَ« اِغْسِلِ اَلثَّوْبَ كُلَّهُ».
With this chain of transmission, from Al-Husayn ibn Sa'id, from Uthman, from Sama'ah. He said:
I asked Imam عليه السلام about the urine of a child that touches clothing. Imam عليه السلام said: "Wash it." I said: "What if I cannot find the exact spot?" Imam عليه السلام said: "Wash the entire garment."
