The Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, narrated to me from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from his father, from Al-Husayn ibn Al-Hasan ibn Aban, from Al-Husayn ibn Sa'id, from Ibn Sinan, from Abu Basir, from Abu Abdullah عليه السلام. He said:
Imam عليه السلام said: "If blood touches a man's garment and he prays in it without knowing, then he does not need to repeat the prayer. However, if he knew about it before praying but forgot and still prayed in it, then he must repeat the prayer."
