وَ أَخْبَرَنِي اَلشَّيْخُ أَيَّدَهُ اَللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ اَلْحُسَيْنِ عَنِ اَلْحَسَنِ عَنْ زُرْعَةَ عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ اَلسِّقْطِ إِذَا اِسْتَوَتْ خِلْقَتُهُ يَجِبُ عَلَيْهِ اَلْغُسْلُ وَ اَللَّحْدُ وَ اَلْكَفْنُ قَالَ« نَعَمْ كُلُّ ذَلِكَ يَجِبُ عَلَيْهِ إِذَا اِسْتَوَى»
The Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, narrated from Ahmad bin Muhammad, from his father, from Sa‘d bin Abdullah, from Ahmad bin Muhammad, from Al-Husayn, from Al-Hasan, from Zur‘ah, from Sama‘ah, from Abu Abdullah عليه السلام.
He said: "I asked Imam عليه السلام about a miscarried fetus (siqt) if its form is complete - does it require washing (ghusl), placing in a grave (lahd), and shrouding (kafan)? Imam عليه السلام replied: 'Yes, all of that is required for it if its form is complete.'"
