أَخْبَرَنِي اَلشَّيْخُ أَيَّدَهُ اَللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ اَلْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِي اَلْجَوْزَاءِ عَنِ اَلْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عُلْوَانَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ آبَائِهِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَ: أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ يَحْتَرِقُ بِالنَّارِ فَأَمَرَهُمْ« أَنْ يَصُبُّوا عَلَيْهِ اَلْمَاءَ صَبّاً وَأَنْ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ».
Narrated by Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, from Abu Ja'far Muhammad bin Ali, from Muhammad bin Al-Hasan, from Muhammad bin Yahya, from Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Yahya, from Abu Ja'far, from Abu Al-Jawza, from Al-Husayn bin Alwan, from Amro bin Khalid, from Zayd bin Ali, from his forefathers, from (Imam) Ali عليه السلام:
Imam Ali عليه السلام was asked about a man who was burned by fire. Imam عليه السلام ordered them "to pour water over him and to perform the prayer for him."
