Chapter on Guiding the Dying, Positioning Them at Death, Procedures for Their Final Moments, Washing Them, and Placing Them in Shrouds
And through this chain of transmission, from Muhammad bin Ya’qub, from a group of our companions, from Sahl bin Ziyad, from Ibn Mahbub, from Mu'awiyah bin Wahb, from Abu Abdullah
Imam عليه السلام said: "The deceased is shrouded in five garments - a shirt (qamis) without buttons, a waist wrapper (izar), a cloth (khirqah) to tie around the waist, a cloak (burd) to wrap the body, and a turban (imamah) to cover the head, with its end placed over the face."
