أَخْبَرَنِي اَلشَّيْخُ أَيَّدَهُ اَللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ اَلْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ اَلْأَصْبَغِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ أَبَا اَلْحَسَنِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ وَ هُوَ فِي جِنَازَةٍ فَحَثَا اَلتُّرَابَ عَلَى اَلْقَبْرِ بِظَهْرِ كَفَّيْهِ.
The Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, narrated to me from Abu Ja‘far Muhammad ibn ‘Ali, from Muhammad ibn al-Hasan, from Ahmad ibn Idris, from Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Yahya, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn al-Asbagh, from some of our companions:
He said: "I saw Abu al-Hasan عليه السلام at a funeral, and he poured soil over the grave using the back of his hands."
