Chapter on Menstruation, Istihada (abnormal bleeding), and Nifas (postpartum bleeding)

Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from Al-Hajal, from Tha‘labah, from Ma‘mar ibn Yahya, who said: I asked Abu Ja‘far عليه السلام, about a woman who becomes pure from menstruation at the time of ‘Asr prayer. Should she also perform the first prayer (Dhuhr)? Imam عليه السلام replied: "No, she only prays the prayer at the time of which she becomes pure."
