Chapter on Menstruation, Istihada (abnormal bleeding), and Nifas (postpartum bleeding)

Narrated from Ali ibn al-Hasan, from Ali ibn Asbat, from his uncle Ya'qub al-Ahmar, from Abu Basir: Abu Abdullah عليه السلام said: "If menstruation occurs to a woman in the month of Ramadan before noon (zawal), she is at liberty to eat and drink. But if it occurs to her after noon (zawal), then she must perform ghusl and count that day as a fast as long as she has not eaten or drunk."
