Chapter on Menstruation, Istihada (abnormal bleeding), and Nifas (postpartum bleeding)
Muhammad ibn Abi Abdillah narrated from Mu'awiyah ibn Hakim, from Abdullah ibn al-Mughirah, from Abu al-Hasan al Awwal
Imam عليه السلام was asked regarding a woman who gave birth (entered postpartum bleeding) and refrained from prayer for thirty days, then she purified herself but saw blood again afterward. Imam عليه السلام said: "She should refrain from prayer because her days of purity have already passed along with her postpartum bleeding days."
