Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 3
Narrated to me by the Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, from Abu Al-Qasim Ja'far bin Muhammad, from his father, from Sa'd bin Abdullah, from Ahmad and Abdullah, the sons of Muhammad bin Isa, from Dawud Al-Sarmi, who said:
(Narrator said) 'I saw Abu Al-Hasan Al-Thalith عليه السلام on multiple occasions urinate, then take a small jug and pour water over himself immediately.'
