Al-Husayn ibn Sa’id narrated from al-Qasim ibn Urwah, from Ibn Bukayr, from Zurarah:
Abu Abdullah عليه السلام said: regarding a man who forgets to wipe his head until he begins the prayer. Imam عليه السلام said: "If there is moisture in his beard sufficient for him to wipe his head and feet, then let him do so and pray." Imam عليه السلام continued: "If he forgets anything from the obligatory acts of ablution, he must begin with what he forgot and repeat what remains to complete the ablution."
