Chapter on the Description of Ablution (Wudu)

Through the same chain of narrators, from Muhammad bin Ya‘qub, from Muhammad bin Yahya, from Muhammad bin Al-Husayn bin Abi Al-Khattab, from Al-Hakam bin Miskin, from Muhammad bin Marwan, who said: Abu Abdullah عليه السلام said: "A man may live for sixty or seventy years, yet Allah سبحانه وتعالى does not accept a single prayer from him." I asked: "How is that?" Imam عليه السلام replied: "Because he washes what Allah سبحانه وتعالى has commanded to be wiped."
