Through the same chain of transmission, from al-Husayn ibn Saʿid, from Ahmad ibn Hamzah and al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, from Aban ibn ʿUthman, from Maysar, from Abu Jaʿfar عليه السلام, who said: Imam عليه السلام said: "Shall I demonstrate to you the ablution (Wuduʾ) of the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى (peace and blessings be upon him and his family)?" Imam عليه السلام then took a handful of water and poured it over his face. Then, Imam عليه السلام took another handful and poured it over his arm. Imam عليه السلام then took another handful and poured it over his other arm. After that, Imam عليه السلام wiped his head and his feet. Imam عليه السلام placed his hand on the top of his foot and said: "This is the ankle (Kaʿb).” Imam عليه السلام then gestured with his hand to the lower part of the heel and said: "This is the shinbone (Zunbub)."
