Chapter on the Description of Ablution (Wudu)

The Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, informed me from Abu al-Qasim Jaʿfar ibn Muhammad, from Muhammad ibn Yaʿqub, from Ahmad ibn Idris, from Muhammad ibn Ahmad, from Muhammad ibn ʿIsa, from Yunus, who said: (Narrator said) "Someone who saw Abu al-Hasan عليه السلام at Mina informed me that he would wipe the upper part of his feet, from the top of the foot to the ankle, and from the ankle back to the top of the foot."
