Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 4
Narrated by the same chain of transmission, from Ali ibn al-Hakam, from al-Husayn ibn Abi al-Alaʾ:
I asked Abu Abdullah عليه السلام about wiping the head. Imam عليه السلام said: "It is as if I see a fold at the back of my father’s neck, and he would pass his hand over it." I asked Imam عليه السلام about Wuduʾ and whether the head is wiped on its front and back. Imam عليه السلام said: "It is as if I see a fold at the back of my father’s neck, and he would wipe over it."
