Chapter on the Rules of Menstruation, Istihadah, and Nifas, and Purification From Them

It is narrated by him (the previous chain) from Ali ibn Asbat, from his uncle Ya'qub ibn Salim al-Ahmar, from Abu Basir, from Abu Abdullah عليه السلام, who said: I asked Imam عليه السلام: "Is the ghusl (ritual bath) for her like the ghusl of a junub (one in a state of major ritual impurity)?" Imam عليه السلام replied: "Yes, it applies to the menstruating woman."
