It is narrated by Ali ibn al-Hasan ibn Faddal, from Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Zurara, from Muhammad ibn Abi Umayr, from Hammad ibn Uthman, from Ubaydullah ibn Ali al-Halabi, from Abu Abdullah عليه السلام, who said: Imam عليه السلام said: "The ritual bath (ghusl) for janabah (ritual impurity due to sexual activity) and menstruation (hayd) is the same."
