Chapter on Description of Tayammum, Its Rules for Those in a State of Impurity, and What They Should Observe About Istibra and Istizhar
The Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, narrated to me from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from his father, from al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan ibn Aban, from al-Husayn ibn Sa'id, from Ibn Sinan, from Ibn Maskan, from Layth al-Muradi:
Abu Abdullah عليه السلام was asked regarding Tayammum (dry ablution). Imam عليه السلام said: "You strike your palms on the ground twice, then shake them off, and wipe your face and your forearms with them."
