Chapter on Description of Tayammum, Its Rules for Those in a State of Impurity, and What They Should Observe About Istibra and Istizhar
The Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, narrated to me from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from his father, from al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan ibn Aban, from al-Husayn ibn Sa'id, from Safwan ibn Yahya, from al-Ala, from Muhammad ibn Muslim, from one of the Imams عليه السلام, who said:
I asked Imam عليه السلام about Tayammum (dry ablution), and Imam عليه السلام said: "Twice, twice - for the face and the hands."
