Muhammad bin Ya‘qub, from al-Husayn bin Muhammad, from Abdillah bin ‘Amir, from Ali bin Mahziyar, from Fadalah bin Ayyub, from al-Husayn bin ‘Uthman, from ‘Amr bin Abi Nasr, who said:
I said to Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him: “A man stands in prayer and wants to recite a surah, and he begins with ‘Surah Al-Ikhlas’ and ‘Surah Al-Kafirun’”. Imam عليه السلام said: "He may return (change to another surah) from any surah except ‘Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad’ and ‘Qul Ya Ayyuhal-Kafirun’."
