Chapter on Rulings on Forgetfulness (Sahw) in Prayer and What Requires Repeating of Prayer
Ahmad bin Muhammad bin ‘Isa, from Ibn Maskan, from al-Halabi, who said:
I said to Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him: “A man recites ‘Surah Al-Ikhlas’ in the Fajr prayer.” Imam عليه السلام said: "There is no problem. And whoever begins with a surah and then decides to switch to another surah, there is no problem, except for ‘Surah Al-Ikhlas’, from which he may not switch to another, and likewise ‘Surah Al-Kafirun’."
