Chapter on Rulings on Forgetfulness (Sahw) in Prayer and What Requires Repeating of Prayer

Ahmad bin Muhammad bin ‘Isa, from al-Hasan bin Ali al-Washsha’, from Ali bin Asbat, from more than one of our companions: Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, said: "Whoever forgets one of the prayers of his day and does not know which prayer it is, he should perform two rak’ahs, three, and four."
