Chapter on Rulings on Forgetfulness (Sahw) in Prayer and What Requires Repeating of Prayer
And from him, from Ali bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr, from Hammad, from al-Halabi, from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, who said:
I asked Him عليه السلام about a man who experiences nosebleed (‘ru’af’) while in prayer. Imam عليه السلام said: "If he is able to find water near him, whether to his right, left, or in front of him, while still facing the qiblah, then let him wash it off and continue with the remainder of his prayer. But if he is not able to find water without turning his face away or speaking, then his prayer is invalidated."
