Chapter on What is Permissible to Pray in, from Clothing and Place, and What is Not Permissible to Pray in, from That

Sa‘d from Sindi ibn Muhammad Al-Bazzaz from Aban ibn Uthman from Abdullah ibn Abi Ya‘fur, who said: I said to Abu Abdillah عليه السلام: “I pray and a woman is beside me, and she is also praying.” Imam عليه السلام said: “No, unless she moves forward or you do. But there is no harm if she is beside you while sitting or standing (and not praying).”
