Chapter on What is Permissible to Pray in, from Clothing and Place, and What is Not Permissible to Pray in, from That
And from him, from Muhammad ibn Al-Husayn from Ja‘far ibn Bashir from Hammad ibn Uthman from Idris ibn Abdullah Al-Qummi, who said:
I asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام about a man who is praying while directly in line with him is a woman standing, in a state of janabah, on her bed. Imam عليه السلام said: “If she is sitting, she does not harm you; but if she is praying, then no (it is not permissible).”
