Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām|Volume 2|Book 1|Chapter 13
Ali narrated from his father from Ibn Abi Umayr from Hammad from Al-Halabi who said:
I asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, about a man who led a group of people in the Asr prayer and then, while praying, remembered that he had not prayed the Dhuhr prayer. He said: "He should make the prayer he is currently in the Dhuhr prayer which he had missed, and then after completing it, he should newly begin the Asr prayer. As for the people, their prayer remains valid."
