Sahl ibn Ziyad narrated from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim from Al-Nawfali from Al-Husayn ibn Al-Mukhtar from a man who said:
I said to Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him: “I am a man who gives the call to prayer, and when it is a cloudy day, I do not know the time.” Imam عليه السلام said: "When the rooster crows three continuous times, then the sun has passed the meridian and the time of prayer has entered."
