Chapter on the Prayer Times (Mawaqit)

From him, from Abdullah ibn Jabalah from ‘Ala’ from Muhammad ibn Muslim from one of the two (Imams عليه السلام), peace be upon them: (Imam عليه السلام was asked) regarding a man who intends to tend to a need or to sleep when the sun passes its zenith, so he begins to pray Dhuhr at that time. Imam عليه السلام said: “There is no harm in it.”
