Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn Al-Hakam from Aban from Abu Basir from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said:
I asked: “A man enters the mosque and the people have already prayed; should he give the Adhan and the Iqamah?” Imam عليه السلام said: "If he enters and the rows have not dispersed, he should pray with their Adhan and Iqamah. But if the rows have dispersed, he must give the Adhan and the Iqamah."
