Chapter on the Manner of Prayer, Its Description and What is Obligatory and Recommended

Muhammad ibn Yahya from Muhammad ibn Al-Husayn from Safwan from Abdullah ibn Al-Hajjaj who said: I asked Abu Al-Hasan عليه السلام, about a man who experiences cramping in his stomach and is able to endure it, should he pray in that condition or not? Imam عليه السلام said: "If he can bear the endurance and does not fear being rushed in his prayer, then he should pray and be patient."
