Ahmad ibn Muhammad by Musa ibn Al-Qasim and Abu Qatadah by Ali ibn Ja'far by (Imam) Musa عليه السلام said:
I asked Imam عليه السلام about a man who is in his prayer and thinks that his garment might have been torn or that something has soiled it, is it permissible for him to look at it or touch it? Imam عليه السلام said: "If it is at the front of his garment or on its sides, there is no harm; but if it is at the back, he should not turn around, for that is not appropriate."
