Sa'd from Muhammad ibn Isa from Yasin Al-Basri from Hariz ibn Abdullah from Abu Basir:
Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, was asked about a Surah, can a man pray with it in the two rak'ahs of an obligatory prayer? Imam عليه السلام said: "Yes, if it consists of six verses, he may recite half of it in the first rak'ah and the other half in the second rak'ah."
