Chapter on the Rulings on Forgetfulness (Ahkam al-Sahw)

Muhammad ibn Isma‘il from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from Hammad ibn Isa from Hariz from al-Fudayl ibn Yasar from Abu Ja‘far عليه السلام and Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon them both: (Imam عليه السلام) said: "You are granted from your prayer only that portion of it to which you give your attention. So if you are heedless of it entirely, or neglect its performance, it is wrapped up and struck against the face of its performer."
