Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Yahya, from Musa ibn ‘Amr, from Muhammad ibn Isma‘il: (Imam) Al-Ridha عليه السلام, peace be upon him, (was asked) regarding a man who is praying. Imam عليه السلام said: "There should be in front of him a small mound of soil, or he should draw a line in front of himself."
