Chapter on What is Permissible and Impermissible to Pray in - of Clothing and Place

From him, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from Al-Barqi, from Sa‘d ibn Sa‘d, from Al-Ridha, peace be upon him, who said: I asked Imam عليه السلام about the skins of ‘khazz’ (a type of fine cloth or fabric). Imam عليه السلام said: "Here we are, we wear it." I asked: “That is fur, may I be your ransom.” Imam عليه السلام said: "When its fur is permissible, its skin is also permissible."
