Chapter on Times of Prayer and Sign of Each of Its Times

Narrated by al-Husayn ibn Sa’id from Fadalah from Husayn from Ibn Muskan from Abu ‘Ubaydah, who said: I heard Aba Ja’far عليه السلام say: "When there was a dark night with wind and rain, the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى (may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family) would perform the Maghrib prayer, then wait for the amount of time it would take for the people to pray their recommended prayers, then His صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم muʾadhdhin would give the iqamah, and He صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم would then perform the ‘Ishaʾ al-Akhirah (the last evening prayer), and then they would disperse."
